I got this lovely anonymous artwork for my birthday doing some word play on my age, but I don't know who the artist is so I don't know if it would be okay to share.

Happy birthday!

And really, I'm fairly sure nobody in their right mind would mind you sharing a piece of gift art you received with your friends.

Did I wish you happy birthday? I can't remember. The days are going by so fast and I've been so busy. If I haven;t I hope you know I wish you a belated happy birthday and I fondly remember your visit to my home.

Oh, the old days, when you got something as a gift, it actually was a gift - something that you own, and owe nobody anything in return. The very definition of a gift.

Welcome to the 21st century, when we automatically assume, that even a birthday gift is nothing but a limited license to view, under certain circumstances, that we can't share with anyone, owing the gift-giver all rights that he "reserved".

Well, I'm glad you enjoy your gift, even if it's really a non-gift. Still, it is so sad :(

Even if it's really not so ... just the fact, that we automatically have to assume that, just to be politically correct.

Well put. Because of your words, I did post in on FA. I can give you a link, if you like.
