Keeping up my rat posts

Byron and I were talking about the robot that escaped from a research facility and was trundling out the carpark to explore the wider world.
Byron: "It was plotting its revenge."
Me: "Why?"
Byron: "For making it run mazes."
Me: "But rats have been made to run mazes for generations," *innocent expression* "and they don't plot revenge."

In 'roo related developments, I've updated the icon for Roophilia. In Firefox you may have to clear the cache and hit Control/Command Reload to bask in its glory if you're a frequent visitor. I also made a .ico file for backwards compatibility with Mozilla-impaired browsers but I can't promise how it will look. Maybe I'll put a fresh fruit bat photo up tomorrow.

After so many years of rats being left out in the cold, are rats becoming the new black? Pixar are also planning a new movie called Ratatouille about a rat that lives in a high class restaurant.

Oh, wow! I'm almost tempted to bid on these. You used to collect cell animations, didn't you?

Yes, but expensive ones. I own only two: a kangaroo & hyena cel from "Bedknobs & Broomsticks" (1971) and a huge cel of a sad Roger Rabbit from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (1988). I used to have another Roger Rabbit cel but I sold it (with a loss) a few years after buying it. I paid US$2000 for each Roger cel and US$300 for the roo cel.

As for the cheaper cels from this eBay seller, I'm tempted by many others, including a Rice Crispies cel and a Quik Bunny one. As for Charlotte's Web, I asked the seller if he has one of Templeton after his binge, sporting a big fat belly. I'm still waiting for a reply. He has more than what's up for auction right now.

Certainly, give it a shot! Put in a modest bid or two, and you might get lucky.. the starting bid's refreshingly low, after all.

Oh God, I do love Templeton! ^-^ A buck I used to have a few years ago was named Templeton.
