I promised I'd post this meme

rings_roo bravely answered this meme in relation to me even though he doesn't know me, so I have to return the favour. Sorry all.

1) Reply with your name and I'll respond with something random about you.
2) I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. (I'm really bad at remembering song names, so be patient with me on this one.)
3) I'll pick a flavour/colour of jelly (jello to my American readers) to wrestle with you in.
4) I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5) I'll tell you my first memory of you.
6) I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7) I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8) If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. (This one's actually optional. I won't force you.)

2) Hungry Like the Wolf by Duran Duran, because it's kind of a sad, yearning song. With wolves in it!
3) Lime.
4) Wolves forming the last letter of the Greek alphabet?
5) I have a memory of you contributing to SFL, but I think you told me that's a false memory and you only subscribed. Never mind, it still sticks.
6) Um, a wolf? Is that okay?
7) What anti-depressants (if any) are you on? Do they help?

2) I think I've heard of that song, but I never actually listened to it. Of course, I might've heard it without knowing its name, though.
3) Mmmm, lime jelly. ^^
4) I don't think I quite understand this, actually. Wolves forming an omega?
5) No, I never contributed anything to SFL, unfortunately. I once wrote a "letter to the editor", but that's all - outside of that, I only was a subscriber (and an avid reader *s*).
6) Yes, it certainly is. ^^
7) I'm taking mirtazapine, 45 mg a day currently. Does it help? Good question. It's always rather hard to say whether anti-depressants have an effect while you're still taking them; you generally only notice that they had an effect when you stop. But I like to think that it's helping a bit at least.

I've also taken other anti-depressants in the past, but the only one that did anything was Zoloft (sertraline); unfortunately, though, it also had rather severe side effects on me eventually, so I had to stop taking it. It did work, though. Mirtazapine, so far, does not seem to have any real side effects for me (which is of course a good thing).

That being said, anti-depressants still don't ever cure anything really - they merely give you a foundation upon which you can then build and which you otherwise wouldn't have. Kinda like painkillers, maybe; you still have to do something about whatever's actually wrong with you, but they give you some relief, so they're definitely a good thing.

5) *head slaps* Doofus! (I'm referring to myself.) I meant the sixth letter, now that I've revealed how uncultured I am. :(
7) Great answer! Thanks for taking the time to give such intelligent feedback.

5) Don't be silly... you're neither a doofus nor uncultured. *snugs* But yeah, it makes more sense now. ^.^

7) You're very welcome. :)

2) Born in the USA by Bruce Springsteen
3) Yoghurt. (I'm pretty sure you can't get yoghurt flavoured jelly, but if you could that that's what I wrestle with you in. What? I like yohurt!
4) Sometimes it takes guts to be a sissy. (Should I admit your Boston calendar has gone temporarily missing after the move? Eeep!)
5) I saw your icon when you were posting under another name, probably in ristin's LiveJournal, I thought it was cute and you were the right species (one of my top three) so I followed you back to your LJ.
6) A cougar. Something big and cranky and American. (This is because of a post you did once in my LJ that affected me very badly.)
7) When you and Squirrel fight, how do you patch it back together again?

2) Joey. This wretchedly cute low budget movie about a joey that got lost in the city and the heartwarming tale of reuniting him with his mummy. I think you can guess why. ;)
3) Raspberry. Definitely raspberry for you.
4) I haven't really known you long enough to be able to think of anything. :( Maybe after you answer my question in 7) I'll be able to do this one. I want you and I to have a talk!
5) I saw your icon on ristin and God it was cute! I just had to follow a kangaroo with an icon that cute. (Yeah, call me shallow.)
6) A kangaroo. This really isn't a fair question to do among furries. I don't know you well enough to form any other opinion of you.
7) My question will have to go in another post. Look out for it!
