Plush Palace update

Thu, Dec. 21st, 2006 10:57 pm (UTC)

Wow. He looks incredible! And he's got real plush for fur! The Fischer-Price Jumbo Bambi here just has a simple, slightly fuzzy covering; not satisfactory at all. Is your Bambi cuddleable, or is he a hardbody? (He'd almost have to have an inner frame to keep his head erect, I would think.)

There's no inner frame; I think it's just firm stuffing that keeps his head erect. He is cuddleable but not soft enough to be comfortable for sleeping with IMO. Also, that erect head tends to get in the way when you toss at night.

I agree with what others have said, that plushie is lovely, albeit a bit large to cuddle up with at night - still, as a personal deer plush lover myself (I've only got two smallish ones) I'd love to find more - so any advice on where to find them, I'd be grateful :)

Well, I got him from The Teddy Bear Shop on Elizabeth Street.

Hey there! I know you're travelling today, but I just wanted to let you know that I got one of those large Playgro Bambis!

He cost £25 to ship from the U.K., but he was easily worth it to me. Yay! ^^

Good on you! I know you and Bambi will be very happy together. :)

I'm sure we will! I intend eventually to obtain a pristine one, too, for display purposes. This guy was so relatively inexpensive that I plan to use him for... well, let's just say I just plan to use him. ;-)
