Mon, Mar. 26th, 2007, 09:28 pm My first rat on Second Life!
I met my first rat on Second Life today. And I'm honoured that that first rat was the enormously talented jackrat. Of course, I had to take a few snapshots to commemorate the event.
I just learned how to edit things, so I'm working my way away from the original Luskwood model. I don't know why no one could ever point me in the direction of editing, it wasn't that hard to do (like it's some big well-kept secret). I doubt I'll near your level of "cuteness", Marko, but all I can do is what I can do...
Still, it was nice meeting you there, and I hope it can be the first of many meetings :)
I hope so too. You could easily surpass me in skill. I did some editing of my avatar and kind of drifted off. I'd promised myself I would start learning how to build objects when I got my new computer, but it never worked out that way...
All I needed was "Right-click on object, select edit" ...that would have been enough for me. As far as I knew, you had to have some special program for everything, but even when I asked if there was one, everyone was all quiet and foot-shuffly.
But now that I know I fear thousands of hours shall be lost (kinda like when I learned there was an editor for the Thief games) ;)
