Plush Palace update

Templeton from Charlotte's Web. I bought him from the FAO Store in New York on the first day the Charlotte's Web series of plush were officially released. He was the last one on the shelf. I spent the rest of the time in the store clutching him tightly.

(BTW, purely by coincidence, it turns out
Charlotte's Web
is going to be released on DVD on the 3rd of April.)

It has? You mean the latest movie? The website is definitely promoting the release of the DVD on 3rd April, go check for yourself. Maybe it got released earlier in Australia for some reason?

I see. The Templeton I so treasure was definitely inspired by the latest version. Whether you want to bother with remakes or not is up to you, though technically I don't think of it as a remake of anything as it's based on the same novel by E. B. White as all the other versions are. I quite enjoyed it but there's no accounting for taste. There's also the Hanna-Barbera version in 1973 of course. I can't find a reference to Don Bluth having done Charlotte's Web. When did he do it?
