Well, once again I set out on my annual trek down to Sydney for the Mardi Gras. This year will be special though. I will be marching in Rattus, as I always have since 2005 when Rattus was only a partial (he wouldn't have it any other way), but this year will see Ziggy's premiere, not only for Mardi Gras but this will be his first public appearance in Australia! It was touch and go whether or not I would take him, but circumstances conspired in his favour. Ziggy wanted to come, so I trust him to find a wearer once I'm down there.
As if that isn't enough awesomeness for one Mardi Gras, early Monday morning I will then be going (in my human form) to be part of a mass nude photographic installation in front of the Sydney Opera House by the artist Spencer Tunick. Nudity has always been an important part of my life, so I'm looking forward to going nude in front of such an important landmark, in the name of art! If anyone would like to join me, I'm sure they're still taking on more "models". You have to get there early (4:00am start, to finish at 9:00am), but, depending on where you are, I will be happy to give you a lift. (I will have a hire car for the duration of my time in Sydney.)
