[Cooking] Chipotle aftermath

Because there was so much interest, I thought I should give you guys an update. We ate the dinner (that ristin described as "certain doom") and it was actually quite palatable. It had a kick but it wasn't too hot. Of course, the good thing about chilli is that you get to enjoy it twice. ;)

If it wasn't too hot, how did you get to enjoy it twice, though? :)

Hot is relative. Some think in 1-5 stars. Others think in "was it so hot I had to stop eating it?"

I guess. :) Although I subscribe to the (rather natural, I think) definition of "if it's got heat, it's hot", myself. :)

Every new chilli is asked, what kind of chilli are you...?

I never enjoy my chillis twice thankfully... My system seems adept and neutralizing them once consumed.

it smelt just fine. A big part of taste is smell. What's Beano? Again, I suspect it's something we don't have here.
