Sing of your love

New research has found that male mice sing to their potential lovers. The researchers have also made audio recordings, pitch shifted or slowed down so humans can hear them. The slowed down version actually sounds quite sweet. Do you think rats sing to their lovers as well? *clears throat*

He's making that one up. I know for a fact I can't sing. I've been told I'm tone deaf.

Maybe... and rats definitely do giggle when you tickle their tummies. ^.^

Well, the giggling is in the 50KHz range, so you can't hear it. ;)

I will have to borrow the ultrasonic test gear from work one day and see what I can pick up. (From the rats that is, I don't need it to pick up Swiftrat's noises!)
